Omega Castle,
I feel the way that you sound in your post, which is Hurt.
I hurt mostly for the forum, which has had to take measures after some participants acted maliciously against it. Unfortunately, I do not see the new requirements for "participation" as anything that will prevent more of that kind of interference, since some people who like to disrupt will likely fulfill the new requirements in order to have another chance to disrupt.
I, for one, do not really like to read or share news stories here, or to discuss things much, or to share jokes or other such stuff.
On the other hand, I do like to share books - and, like you with your own uploads, cannot download any of the books that I've uploaded to this fine forum.
I made more than 50 new topics, each with an uploaded book, most in multiple formats, and contributed more uploads to topics originated by others.
Dear truly respected Administrators, does that not count for ANYTHING? Or am I sort of being told "Thanks for nothing." ... Or is it Publish Or Perish? ... IMO, it's not the number of posts, but the quality of such that seems to matter most.
I belong to other forums. (Of course, none of them have such a fine Book section like Craxme.) There's one large one that's been in existence for 20 years, and I've been a member for 15 years, contributing no more than 15 posts in all that time. And I've never been required to do anything (besides signing in) in order to get download links.
And I've never done anywhere near the amount of work on those forums as I've done here on Craxme. Yet, ALL of those other forums allow me access to download links at will.
The Craxme Forum, the forum to which I've contributed far more than I've given to other forums, will not allow me to download even the book uploads that I've made to its library.
I hope that administrators will consider revisiting the new requirements for participants. Once more people give feedback about this, then there's a chance that more people will feel welcome in the forum - IF administrators can see the sense (and the respect) behind such feedback. Until then, many very fine participants like myself seem likely to feel kicked in the teeth, as I feel now.
