Sometimes one needs to see a document (pdf, doc, xls, etc.) and one does not have a desktop computer on hand, or our simple phones do not have document viewers, or we do not have enough MB to download the entire document .
There is a simple trick to make this possible and simply "ask" the Google Docs document viewer to open the URL in which the document (pdf, doc, xls, etc.) is located, that is, you can link to:
https://docs.google.com/viewer?url=[absolute document (pdf, doc, xls, etc.) path to show]
For Java and Symbian phones, this trick works much better if you use Opera mini.
Example: https://docs.google.com/viewer?url=https://www.porsche.com/all/media/pdf/owners_manual_cayenne_pcna.pdf
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Eventually the documents (pdf, doc, xls, etc.) to be displayed should not exceed 20MB in size. |
