I just finished watching Season 2 of the TV show. I don't watch a lot of tv, but this was enjoyable and some of the better tv available now.

But I enjoyed the films much more. The tv Jack Ryan is a more flawed character that made me want to shout at the screen "no, don't do that!"

All such entertainment is just that, so you may have a different appreciation of these shows.

The shows bear little resemblance to the books except for maybe "The Hunt for Red October". That is one of the few of which I liked both the book and the film.
