Had a mixed feeling after reading the first part, I cleared my mind before reading the sequel. Because the plot is promising and so very next I read it. Pralay. Depicting great deluge coming to the city and the circumstances that provoked it.
Well, the story picks up very well, and this time I have no grudges of altering the facts. All three plots get thickened and grips you very well. Dwarka Shashtri, Manu and Naina gets limelight so does Vidyut. And we are introduced to dark world of Aghori, which is very well done. But somehow, the tale loses fizz somewhere in middle where it gets too descriptive to tell the whole theory of new world order and things around. Surprisingly this 'new world order' gets disappeared while we move forward towards the end and the focus shifts to another facet. This change, off-put the reader like me. But still, wherever the story is progressing, gets more and more interesting.
New and more dark characters are introduced and that adds more grip on the story. Swiftly all the three tales move ahead in chapter one by one and it doesn't feel disconnecting. As we are reaching towards the finale, this serves rather fitting sequel.
This would be a 3.5 / 5 for me. Looking forward to see what lies in the final part, Kashi.

Irked at the fact that the title is Pralay, but things hardly gets moving in 'that' direction. It is still away in even the last chapter. Why the name Pralay then?
