While I do not hate e-books, I will always prefer a physical copy. There is a definite feeling when you hold a book in your hands.

I would say E-reader, have been on kindle for last 5-6 yrs and groups like this makes getting the books easy so for now E-reader is my choice. But said that I don't allow my son to read with it and ask him to read a REAL BOOK for the time being. He should have the feel of a real book before the gadget. As it is this gen is so hooked to gadgets, so for him only printed books for now.. the real thing

And to add to this I won't want to share my Kindle.... and will wait for some time to give him his own

I agree with you about kids reading a print book than an e-book, particularly younger kids. Apart from missing the feel of the real thing with print books, the major disadvantage with gadgets is that they can be distracting.

I will always enjoy the print version, but e-readers are great for reading very long novels and I  have a lot of titles to choose from anytime. These days, I mostly read on my kindle and the Paperwhite is amazing for long reads.

doesn't matter as long as I get to read. I actually have no preference. One can't deny the fact that ...

Well said.
For me, i read print versions typically at home relaxed. Prefer ebooks (kindle/iphone) when I am travelling or taking a short break in office.

For considerations of cost, accessibility and temporary usage, ebooks are the best. For the soul and mind, print books forever
