It's great to have so many budding writers on the group. We are working on something that would help you with this. Stay tuned .
@divey, I have been journaling since I was a teen. What keeps me at it is to assign a particular time of the day to journaling, ideally before bed. Write daily even if it is just a few sentences.
I used to do it early morning as I found the time most conducive to pen down thoughts but somehow I just cant muster enough inspiration to write anymore

Oh so you were creating something. I get how frustrating it could be to lose your touch and stumble upon a block. Why not take up the work again and try to continue it with a different tangent? Also having a steady reader base for your work helps to motivate you. You could surely try that.

So hold on a little while. Try those writing exercises wherein you take a normal situation and turn it upside down. That can help you get over your block.
Also as Cynic mentioned, we do have something coming up for all budding writers here. Stay tuned.
I would be interested in writing full length biographies of many different types of people worldwide across different generations and eras.
Among Indians I would focus on the following people-
1. Pherozeshah Mehta
2. Gopal Gokhale
3. Bal Gangadar Tilak
4. Malik Ambar
5. Qutubudin Aibak
6. Dadabhai Naoroji
7. Robert Thorp [He was a half British, half Kashmiri journalist who lived in Kashmir in the 1800s]
8. Motilal Nehru
9. The Rani of Jhansi
10. Dr Ranji Ambedkar
I won't laugh... it's a good idea, especially if there's a fun way to do it. I have a recipe book that's called 'Recipes to the Rescue' and it's full of those retro punky cartoons and their exaggerated emergencies. It's super fun.
And there's this style of recipe writing in 'Thug Kitchen' that I enjoy, though I don't know if it appeals to many. https://www.thugkitchen.com/recipes

I would agree with that. Its is better to finish what you started, that way you won't regret not having tried it.
I believe that if you once had the talent to do something, you always have it. You just have to nurture it again to find that special spark that made you start that journey in the first place.
