Perhaps we can include classics that many of us worldwide will know and heard of. Even if we have not read one, some or most of them we are likely to have opinions on them and share comments on the author's style, creativity, page turner abilities and even context among other things.
The Sherlock Holmes series is one such example. The author, Conan Doyle, was a member of British Intelligence, knew Harry Houdini, the magician and was fascinated by the Occult itself.
Sherlock Holmes meanwhile is a science graduate, someone who smokes opium, has followers and admirers, but few friends and keeps a low profile. |
