Those who liked the Krishna Udayshankar version of Ashwathama should also read the series Aryawarta by the same author. It is such a wonderful depiction of the Mahabharata. The author has tried to portray all the characters of the epic as real humans capable of follies and emotions. But human.... not gods or fictional characters. Really worth a go.
Presently am reading Series Nine by Shobha Nihalani.... It started interestingly enough but is slowly getting into a drub read. On the second of the three books, halfway through.... Author has stretched the story to get a series at hand. Should have stopped at One book. nyone has read through the series pls tell shd I read ahead or stop it here
Vikramaditya Veergatha series by Shatrujeeth Nath has been a revelation. Pacy, intriguing and never a dull moment. Read all 3 books in the series and eagerly waiting for the fourth!
Vikramaditya Veergatha is truly a superb series. Am also eagerly awaiting the last book. The problem is, I have to read the 1st 3 books again, as there are a lot of characters and it gets difficult to remember everything.
Krishna Coriolis series by Ashok Banker seemed promising in the beginning. But I soon got bored coz of the lengthy narration. Since the author has made a book of each event in Krishna's life, the narration is too lengthy for my liking

I haven't read the books. But the way you asked the question if anyone has read please tell me if I should finish... suggests the bokk no more interests you. In such a case I would simply shut the book and call it quits. No point in punishing yourself.
I Also like Shatrujeet Nath who wrote the Vikramditya Veergatha Series. I love his books. There is discussion about Tunnel of Varanvart, is it avilable on craxme forum? I couldn't find it.

Yeah I agree with you but then I am through with second and halfway to the third. The premise of the book is such that you keep on expect something interesting may happen....and so I'm still on
