Lord of the rings Movies Vs Books

Book is better, but movie version can be entertaining in a different way.

That said I usually try to read most books before I see the movie - I can enjoy both in that order. If I see the movie first I usually will not then go and read the book.

Hands down, books were way better than the movie. At least that is my view
