pdf i think.epub and mobi has limitations.

pdf is the most robust as this has been in use for many years now.

I don't really like pdf on a Kindle as a lot of the advantages of epub or mobi formats are lost .... its basically like reading a simple text file (probably because thats what it is!), but most things native to a dedicated reader are lost ....

I've just got used to working with epubs, so the legacy effect is there. But have read a lot of books in mobi, pdf and azw3 when there was no other option, so not a major issue for me.
