Yes, I really enjoyed that book. I'd finished a couple of Perumal Murugan's books before reading Ghachar Ghochar and by that time I was tired of open-ended stories.

Yup, true that. Swami and Friends was the very first book of his I read and was completely bowled over by it.

I totally get that. Years back, I read The Bourne Identity and was left so disappointed that the antagonist managed to escape. It was required for the continuation of series.... but was none the less frustating.
