Eric Segal's The Doctor was a favorite book for the longest time. But like you said, reading habit ...

That's because it so accurately describes our days in medical school. And it reflects the sentiments of the doctors so well.

It is a powerful, thought provoking book. It reminds me of the quote "Truth is stranger than fiction, but it is because Fiction is obliged to stick to possibilities; Truth isn't"

Recently during my MBA time I read a book called 'Barbarians at the Gate". It was simply a great book which showed me good insights how deals are done and broken and also how ego makes and breaks deals

I read Heather Wood - Third-Class Ticket - (Penguin Travel Library) - Penguin (Non-Classics) (1990) when I was younger and found it very moving.

The author travels with 40 Bengali villagers in 1969 in their train journey visiting the furthest corners of India. Made me look at my own country with new eyes.

Well it has to be the first book i ever read Kane and Abel by Jeffery Archer. it just blew me away and introduced me to the world of reading.
