Karna too had divya-astra's he had surya kawach, he was if not better then equal to Arjun, and as per mythology books and description he was one of the  best "Bow and Arrow" Warrior

The "Surya Kabach" was actually exaggerated. Have you ever seen any instance when Karna was saved by the armor, which otherwise would have been fatal?

As per Bhisma, there was no greater military strategist & warrior at that period in whole Uttarapath.

Finally someone said it. That entire narrative around "Surya Kavach" and "Surya Kundal" is extremely exaggerated. If it indeed was a layer of protection for Karna, why don't we have any instance where it is mentioned that Karna is saved from a fatal attack?




Also of Karna was so great, why was he defeated during the "Viraat Yudh" by Arjun even with Bheeshma on his side?




Karna has been dubbed as some sort of a tragic hero when he wasn't. He had a fairly good life and became a king without doing anything more than befriending a prince. I don't see him worth comparing to any great warriors of the epic.

In my opinion karna and bhishma are equally talented same like battle between parushuram and bhishma where no one could win..it would result in the same between karna and bhishma..

no karna would never have been able to defeat bhisma.no one in fact could have.had bhisma not betrayed duryadhan n given out hints to arjun how to slay him
he would have had to win the war for duryadhan as he was practically immortal without shikhandi's presence.he almost hands victory to yudhisthir by such
self inflicted defeat.

Yes, could have but he was confused on what to do or why to do or how to do. Besides, he was always self centres & never took a moral stand like Bhisma who atleast was able to advise.
