I feel we read those books which gives us comfort from the real world. And everybody has his own zone of comfort. That's how we read so many different genres of book.
The books that we revisit I guess are those which at the first go made you feel something special or takes you away from the reality...maybe your own utopian world.

That's how Harry Potter is so frequently reread book.
All Doctors reread Doctors.....
These are my reread books. I think we discussed them earlier too... But here they are

Doctors by Eric Segal
Roots by Alex Haley
Harry Potter ofcourse but in the same line Inheritance quadrology by Paolini
Tuesday with Morrie
The fault in our Stars
The King Rat by Clavell
Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy ( so long so long....)
Few Marathi books
I like to read Jeffrey Archer over and over
A time to kill by Grishm

Thats for now... Many more

'Doctors' is an amazingly well-written book that remains fresh no matter how many times you get back to it. The same with Jeffrey Archer's novels Not a Penny More and Kane and Abel.
