If rogue waves are the causes, then why aircrafts are disappearing? I once read in an article that there exists an electromagnetic field which causes the navigation tools if aircrafts and ships to malfunction. Since both contains sofisticated machineries, this malfunctioning probably Leeds to their capsising and disappearence. However this is also just a probable theory. The mystery lives on.
