You can't limit the options to one genre.... Its too monotonous. You delve into various genre as per the trend, your mental status at that time and many other factors. Sometimes peer pressure also makes you read something- which may go the good or the bad way.
So almost everything goes.

Ditto that. I fully agree. I too reject gyan and romance genre outrightly. Though in other genre also it shouldnt be a nonsensical masala story. Historical fictions even though being a fiction it do have an element of history of those times in it. Legal thrillers is another genre which I like a lot.

Haven't read a good legal thriller in a long time. John Grisham gave some good ones but now he seems to be past his prime. I used to enjoy Perry Mason when I was in school. That's where my interest in legal thrillers started.
Historical Fiction/Fiction based on mythology & Mystery/Suspense/Thriller but mostly mythological fictions. I love to read the logical & humanistic descriptions of the things which we used to believe as some kind of miracle from child hood.
