It is Kindle Paperwhite for me, in combination with Calibre. I do read on my phone too, although it straining.

Why do I use and prefer Kindle? I have always used a Kindle.

Kindle Paperwhite for me!
Kind of a lifesaver in certain situations.
And of course Calibre for conversions.

Kobo glo for me is my eBook reader from last 4years.  With dual boot Koreader, i can read any format on my kobo glo , with expandable storage, backlight it had made my reading so convenient.

If Craxme (or similar sites) is your only source of books, go for any Kobo, depending on your budget. For paid books, Kindle Paperwhite is best.

personally, i have used all the kindle models available in the market currently, right from the base version to the kindle oasis 2017 model, but i think if you don't need many fancy features a paperwhite is fine but if u are someone like me who neeeds the page press buttons for turning pages and who needs ergonomical reading, go for a kindle voyage or a kindle oasis, they would be best, also i am currently using a kindle oasis and i love it!!!

Oasis is definitely not worth the price, at least in my opinion. Voyage is better value for money. Also, my favorite is the old keyboard model with the music playing option. That was my very first Kindle and even though I didn't use it much then, I think I liked the size and the fact that you could read and listen to music at the same time. I wish Kindle would include this feature in the upcoming models and keep the price in the 10 - 18K range. I can't see myself spending more than that on a reading device.
