Undoubtedly a r raham...But these days he is not coming out with good music...Infact his films r also not doing good at d box office except sanju. I really liked his ruby song from sanju. Apart him...Pritam is really churning good and hit songs.

My Vote for A R Rehman but its depend on kind of music. A R Rehman might not do good job in pop or disco music.

Salim-Sulaiman Brothers and Shankar Ehsaan Loy. They make good music which bring the lyrics of the song come alive.

Pritam definitely. He has a lot of variety and catchy tunes. Other good musicians are Vishal Shekar and Lalit Pandit

Recently most of the work by all music directors seem to be bordering on mediocrity. Some are heavily reliant on 80s and 90s remixes. Although I like many but at the moment except Vishal-Shekhar not many are doing anything substantial.
