I remember my first 1 GB drive, Full height, 5.25", SCSI-2, which cost me US$1000. Most people those days (in 1993) had 100-120 MB drives, our server at work had two 200MB drives. My colleagues used to pronounce a GIGABYTE as a 'JIGABYTE' alluding to Back to the future movies where they needed JIGAWATT power!
First we had floppies, then CDs, then DVDs, then pen drives, then Hard discs, then SD cards and now this. The digital technology is changing the lifestyle very fast. But, we shouldn't complain about this.
