Jumping off the boat, the woman hit the heavy scissors with all her strength on the head of the snake slithering towards her on the sand.
She went to the drawer to get scissors for making a paper boat, but saw that a snake lay coiled atop it.
Although the scissors did not cut the paper into the shape of a boat, it was good enough to kill the snake when used like a knife.
