Buddy Read Introduction and Requests

We are introducing a Buddy Read request thread for members who wish to read and discuss a book, and looking for a reading buddy.

Here is how it works

- Nominate a book for a buddy read by posting the title in this introduction thread and when you are planning to read it.

- When you see a book nominated that you want to read, post your interest in this thread.

- Once agreed upon, proceed to create a separate thread under Buddy Reads and continue your discussion there.

A few things to note. This is not a group read. There would be no group nominations or voting. The buddy read is not limited to two members. More members can join in if desired.

That is great .

Yes it works similar to the group reads for discussing. You need to create a new thread for the book under Buddy Reads so that people who have read the book can also share their views. Also, you don't need to wait for others to finish, you can share your views while reading the book.

Reading The Tandoor Murder right now. So wouldn't mind discussing that. Six of Crows is on my list but not yet. Maybe after a fortnight or so. As I plan to take up The Dark Angels after I finish The Tandoor Murder.

Since mousetrap is already reading it (and I am yet to finish the one I am currently reading), we can pick Six of Crows next week. Does that work for you?
