I was wondering if anyone has any good suggestions for me in the Urban Fantasy genre?
I really do like the genre in itself, but i have found that SO many urban fantasy books are just romance books with some fantasy thrown in... So i'm looking for books/series in the genre where the romance is either nonexistant or at least relegated to the sidelines.
So far i've enjoyed Jim butcher (Dresden files) and the Iron druid chronicle (Kevin Hearne) best.

I really liked Krishnarjun Bhattacharya's 'Tantrics of old' and 'Horsemen of old'. Apart from being an Indian setting and being well written, there is also no romance at all.

Thank you all for the suggestions
I tried Daniel Jose Older, but in the first pages you already get the "oh look how sexy THAT dude is" vibe and i didn't read on.(examples of why this is one of those books i just put down immediately
"Karina’s right: the new Capoeira teacher is fine as hell. He sits on a folding chair facing us in the big meeting room, his muscular arms crossed over his muscular chest. There’s a shiny bruise on his left cheek, but otherwise, his face is maybe perfectly symmetrical."
"Rigoberto stands up. Dude must be six foot three, at least. He’s perfectly proportioned—each piece fits into the next just right, arms hang just right, his loose white pants fit just right. It’s almost sickening. “Hello, guys and girls,” he says with a doofy wave. “You can call me Rigo.”
“Do we have bulge?” Karina whispers, peering over Devon’s baseball cap.
We do. “We appear to have bulge,” I report.
Karina nods. “Confirmed bulge.”
I have downloaded tantrics of old and will give it a try now! Thanks for that

This looks straight out of a Harlequin novel.

Oh, well. Fair observations. I guess I latched on to stuff completely different in Daniel Jose Older's works, and completely ignored elements that didn't resonate. I'm rather forgiving that way. Anyway, sad to know it didn't match up to expectations. Cool. Did you by chance come across a weird but slyly entertaining novel called Unreal Aliens, by Karthik Laxman? Think you like this blurb enough to give it a shot?

The unreal aliens look like something special, but most reviews i've skimmed point to it being at it's best when you know of the going-ons in Indian politics from 2016 - and to be honest i don't really
