In my view Hanuman. A good friend is one who always is available to you ,gives you sagacious advice by speaking his mind and does not watch you going down the path of ruin. this is what Hanuman did to Sugriva. he never allowed him to take "high level risks, managed to putn him in contact with Ram and got him crowned as ruler of Kishkindha,He was by his side throughout the period of travails .

In contrast, history claims that Karna a perfect bosom friend to duryodhanawho  stood by him but never tried to dissuade him from indulging in unethical acts. he was never known to speak his mind. Rather than friendship, it was his servile attitude which always came in his way. he encouraged the dishonoring of Draupadi after Yudhishtra lost the dice game . Even after he learnt that he was a brother of the Pandavas, he did nothing; he could have stopped the  Mahabharatha war by stepping in. He failed in his duties to be a good friend.

Karna is the most faithful to his master but not a good friend as he could not guide his friends on the right path. On the other hand Hanuman being faithful became a greatest friend of Rama by stood behind him

Karna, because it takes unwavering loyalty and courage of conviction to stand by a friend despite your reservations while not agreeing with the morality of his choice

Hanuman was not a friend of shri ram. He was a bhakt. That way karna is a better friend. Ofcourse, as a bhakt there is no comparison of hanuman.
