Best application for cataloguing and managing books

I thought of sharing this which will be very helpful for all book lovers and collectors. There is an app called "Calibre" which is available for both windows 10 and Mac OSX that can be used for cataloguing your ebook collection with metadata and covers for each book.You can have your entire collection at one place and can use the search function or browse through various categories of books.In addition there are many other features to name a few- ebook format converter, managing your e-readers such as kindle and Kobo etc. You can also catalogue your physical book collection in this app.

Just to add moreover it is a free application and you can download it for your respective OS by doing a simple google search with its name.Hope it will be of help.

i usually use calibre for converting but for cataloguing its ok not that great. i yet to find good software for it

Out of currently available softwares Calibre is the best for cataloguing as well needs little bit of tuning and addition of plugins to do so.
