What is the relationship between The Hound and Arya Stark?

I think the Hound is anideal example of a normal child with fellow feelings & kindness, being born & raised in an utterly cruel house…House Clegane !!!

The Hound aka Sandor Clegane was deeply scarred both physically & mentally when his own brother, Gregor held his face in an oven, like a piece of lamb chop !!!

The ill effects of this assault bears with him till now & he has always been grumpy ever since…He doesn’t name his sword, he considers “honor” to be a load of horse-shit !!!

But, the tenderness inside him remains intact.

He saves Sansa multiple times from the psychological abuse of Joffrey, from the rapists of Flea Bottom.

He takes care of Arya, even though the later tries to murder him in his sleep. He doesn’t let Arya see the Red wedding (remember the blow to her head ? It was MERCY !). He teaches her a few things with the sword too !!!

Most importantly, through his good conduct & protective affection, he manages to scrap himself out of Arya’s little list !!! yes, Arya’s List…the stone-cold killer’s list !!! (Make no mistake about it, Arya Stark HAS grown up to be a stone-cold killer)
