How about reading hobbit and LOR ?

Group reads section is on deck if members are interested.
There would also be cozy reads for a sub-group. The section will include a thread where you can scout for participants. Let me know if you are interested.

We should try and make the book club more inclusive. Also there doesn't seem to be many active members here. We could try and put up topics that will interest everyone. At the moment it's just us, a pretty small group, and even we hardly have any topic to discuss cohesively.

I hope more people would come forward and share their views. To be fair, not many knew this group existed. Dev has been kind enough to promote the group yesterday.

Feel free to post topics you would like to discuss. Need to come up with a few myself.

I believe the closed discussions are mainly because of the restrictions, Ideally, the book discussions forumand the book sharing thread should be combined, so that a book can be shared as soon as it is discussed. Food for thought

Perhaps we can suggest a book or books to read and then review them little by little while we are reading them.

That way we can have our own ideas and thoughts on what to expect, what we found surprising, how things actually turned out and how we personally would have structured or ended it. In the same way we can discuss the evolution of characters, settings and perspectives.

We already have groups reads and buddy reads for that. Do check them out. Feel free to create a thread under Book Reviews to post your thoughts while you are reading a book.
