Will Brazil vote "Tropical Trump" or Socialist?

Brazilians vote Sunday in a surreal election in which Jair Bolsonaro — an ex-army captain dubbed the “Trump of the Tropics” by the British press — is leading in the polling and gaining momentum.

The latest poll, by the credible Datafolha firm, shows Bolsonaro with 39 percent support, the leftist Workers’ Party Candidate Fernando Haddad with 25 percent and center-left candidate Ciro Gomes with 13 percent. Candidates need more than 50 percent of the vote for an outright win.

Brazil has a deeply suffering economy. Will the citizens favor the conservative or vote the "pink" Socialism seen in Venezuela?

The right-winger Bolsonaro won with 47% of vote, but needed 50% to avoid a runoff later this month.

Regardless, the leftist Workers' Party candidate is forecast to lose again, leaving "Tropical Trump" as the hope for Brazil's recovery.

I read that many Brazilians prefer to have as President to a misogynist and homophobe like Bllsonaro, than a thief (leftist).
I wonder if there is any relationship between the quality of a president and the IQ level of the people who choose him.
The truth is that all extremes are bad, both the extreme right and the radical left... Finally, each country has the president and the politicians they deserve, and if later people regret having chosen a brute President, then, that they are going to cry in the river...

Bilsonaro will win whether we like it or not. The unfortunate thing is that it will split Brazil like Trump did for the US.
