Yes for me it depends on the genre. May be if it is a book which requires lot of thinking while you read, I would go to a hard copy. E bboks give a lot of comfort from the angle of storage and books on kindle apps are when I am at my laziest
It depends on the genre for me. I prefer reading graphic novels in print format. Same with non-fiction books that are graphic rich. The ebook versions are a pain to read.
As for regular fictions, any format works okay for me.
I actually love reading from a real book. The feel of it in my hands, the smell of the paper and the fact that I don't have to worry about harming my eyes with exposure to 'blue light' emitted by our devices. However, quite a lot of the times e-books are easily available than regular books and in that category, I prefer the .epub versions.

Kindle's Q-Ink technology doesn't emit blue light. Turn off the back-light and you will be fine - the only condition is that it will be like a physical book - you cannot read it without ambient light.
