Additional format for submission of books

@cynic Can you pls give the list of format in which books can be uploaded

And can we add lit and cbr formats to the permitted uploads. I can add some books in that format.

Why I put it in general forum is I wanted others also to come up with other format which may be also added to the permitted list.

cbr format may be too big for upload since the limit is only 14.6 MB. I have some cbr books that are from 19 MB to 175 MB each.

@viksorion Readers are allowed to upload books in pdf, mobi, epub, azw3, zip, and rar.

I recall Dev had agreed to allow uploads in cbr format on one of the request threads in help section. Will check with him.

Lit, CHM and HTML format reqd for medical books upload

Addition of lit format will be most useful since some older books are still in lit format..If they are converted into epub or mobi using certain software like calibre, the margins are completely changed and will get lot of irritation in reading those books in converted format.Though CBR formats occupy lot of space, they are still useful in reading graphic novels. It may be uploaded in parts using winzip or winrar so that the people who download can merge the parts in order to have a full book.

Unlike pdf format the Google books download provides some 3 diff formats which I've never heard of
