Nerd Guy/Girl Problem #228 - When you finished a series and you are having reading withdrawals because you don't know what to read next.

A sudden affliction of sadness when you finish a particularly wonderful book or series. As you get to the last page, you read a little slower. You wish for a sequel although you know there isn't going to be one.

Which was the last book or series that gave you reading withdrawals?

I have passed through that phase with many standalone books. I feel I am going to have the same feeling with the current trilogy that I am reading - The Red Sparrow Trilogy by Jason Matthews.
I remember I felt a similar feeling when I completed the 3rd book of "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" series by Steig Larsson. But someone else came up with another book on Lisbeth Salander but it was never the same.

Harry Potter - Yes
similar feeling with Eragon series. I feel its much better written, but has not somehow caught the imagination of the reader.
But then this happens with almost all well written books, they make you yearn for more. Makes you feel empty for things to continue.

Aryavarta Chronicles by Krishna Udayshankar. I was so badly invested into the book, it took me a while to come to terms with the fact that I finished it. Add to it canon Mahabharat. After having read it I couldn't understand what to do.
