The vote is to decide the sequence of genre for reading. I don't think anyone is feeling forced here (I do hope so), they are just making a point that the genre is not the only one of their choice.

np...thanks..I've voted on Indian authors in the meantime and my second preference would have been mythological fiction

We still have a day to go.... but looking at things, we might need to consider the second choice members posted to decide between Indian authors and myth fics .

Note: Given the process, the vote to pick the group read would be delayed a bit.
