It is time to set a few rules in place for the Book Club group.

1. Newbie members, do not flood the group with one word/phrase replies on every post. You are more than welcome to share your views, but do not use this group simply for the purpose of gaining points for accessing the Reading Room.

2. Do not post on outdated threads. This is particularly in regard to previous group read nomination threads. We will delete your post.

3. Be civil with fellow members. It is okay to disagree, but no abuses please. You members have been kind in this regard, but it is good to have the rule in place.

4. Don't post off topic. We are setting up a chat club thread for you to chat freely about anything under the sun.


Members are requested to follow the rules and enjoy the Book Club. Or I and Shivani will be forced to don our Moderator hat.

As long as you are genuinely interested in participating in the group, and not using it as a way to rake up points, it should not be a problem. A reminder though, please consolidate your reply into one post instead of creating multiple ones consecutively.
