No it is not unethical. A well known writer must have proper guidelines for the ghost to follow.

I don't mind at all as long as the authors have a good reason like have a force major problem like accident so they can't resume to write for a while or forever...

i believe until they are paid well and are able to make a living out of it its fine, but thats just my opinion, also if someone needs to get recognised, they must strive to publish their works in their name and allow the world to know of their potential
