How to take a screenshot on any Android phone

Every Android phone isdifferent, and so is taking screenshots with them. Even though Android 4introduced simple screenshots for all with the handy power-and-volume-down-keycombo, nailing it can still be tricky. That's why some phone makers have introducednew methods. We're here to help: Just find your Android phone on the list belowto learn the various ways to snap, share, and save a screenshot.
Acer phones

  • ·        Hold down the power andvolume-down buttons for a couple of seconds.
  • ·        Pull down thenotification panel to reach quick settings and tap the Screenshot icon.

Asus phones

  • ·        Hold down the power andvolume-down buttons for a couple of seconds.
  • ·        Pull down thenotification panel to reach quick settings and tap the Screenshot icon.

HTC phones

  • ·        HTCU series: Hold down thepower and volume-down buttons for a couple of seconds.
  • ·        HTC10: Hold down the homeand volume-down buttons OR hold down the power and volume-down buttons for acouple of seconds.
  • ·        Allother HTC phones: Hold down powerand volume-down buttons for a couple of seconds.

Huawei and Honor phones

  • ·        Hold down the power andvolume-down buttons for a couple of seconds.
  • ·        Pull down thenotification panel, switch to Shortcuts, and tap the Screenshoticon.

Lenovo

  • ·        Hold down the power andvolume-down buttons for a couple of seconds.

LG phones

  • ·        Hold down the power(located on the back of the phone) and the volume-down buttons for a couple ofseconds.
  • ·        Pull down thenotification panel and tap the Capture+ icon.

Motorola phones

Nexus and Pixel phones

Samsung phones
