Find the photo you're looking for faster

Search your photos by person, place, or object.

1. Open the Google Photos app. In versions 1.23 and below, tap the blue search button on the bottom right.
2. Tap the search field at the top of the screen and enter a name, place, activity, or object to quickly find the photo you are looking for. Search for things like "Dan and me," "New York City," "skiing," or "Lee's wedding."
