Ipad: File copy tricks? Help

I purchased Ipad recently and found that I can not use flash drives. I want to copy the files from and to.

Any tricks to do that?

I want to copy powerpoint, word files, etc for work.

I generally just email files to myself.  I heard with the new ios13, you can transfer using a usb to lightning adapter. I dont have the adapter, so cannot confirm. Good luck!

You can use google drive. Upload the files there and then download it or edit from the google drive app.
