Well, apparently it is a poisonous snake (for its defense/attack posture).
To know if that snake is some reincarnated ex-wife, first place two objects near the snake, the first object is an unlimited credit card (Visa, Master Card, etc.), and the second object is a live mouse... If the snake only goes for the mouse, then it is a real snake, if the snake only goes for the credit card, then it is your reincarnated ex-wife... But, if the snake devours the mouse and take your credit card, then that snake is not your reincarnated ex-wife, but rather, your ex-mother-in-law reincarnated.

A mother-in-law went for a walk with one of her three sons-in-law... While they were walking around the park, the lady slipped, fell into the lake and she began to drown. Without hesitation for a moment, the son-in-law throws himself into the water and rescues her.
The next day, the son-in-law finds in front of his house, a Toyota Camry last model with a note stuck on the car's windshield: "Thank you from your mother-in-law, who loves you very much."
A week later the mother-in-law goes for a walk with her second son-in-law. When passing by the same lake, the lady slips again and she falls into the water. Immediately, her second son-in-law gets into the lake and saves her... The next day, the second son-in-law finds in front of his house a last model Honda Civic and a note that says: "Thank you from your mother-in-law, who loves you very much."
A week later, the mother-in-law goes out for a walk with her third son-in-law. History repeats itself, and the lady falls into the lake again... Only this time, the son-in-law sits on the floor and laughs as he sees his mother-in-law drown and sink into the water.
The next day, the third son-in-law finds a Bugatti Chiron last model with a note on the super sport car's windshield: "Thank you from your father-in-law, who loves you very much."
