Judging is under stress in the digital era ,a supreme court judge said on sunday.lamenting that even before a case is taken up by the court,people start discussing on social media what the outcome should be which has an influence on the judges.

In this regard, I recollect one of the top cricketers saying that I do not read news papers and experts articles during matches.
Probably, judges also should refrain from reading n social media.

I just finished jury duty on a case.
Interesting that a top cricketer's opinion is memorable.
For the rest of us, it's law and common sense.
The judge itself (non-gender specific) warns the entire court before and after every recess:
- do not discuss the case, even amongst ourselves, until final deliberation
- do not follow any media regarding the case
- when deliberating, judge only on court proceedings, nothing external.
