I use BHIM which is National Payments Corporation India initiative.
Simple and Secure UPI option for Indian Nationals.

BHIM is best. Entry if HDFC may change the game followed with oaytm etc.

What makes Paytm the market leader is its sheer coverage. Almost all of the vendors and business no matter how small accept Paytm wallet if not specifically UPI. Tez / Google Pay does not offer eWallet services - only UPI, much like NPCI BHIM UPI.
