Aaah! my favourute memnory! it was the Magic Faraway Tree by Enid Blyton that i got my hands on one ...

Love the Faraway Tree series... I think it is Blyton's best work among all she's written.

agree! another series that is lesser known though equally magical was the whishing chair series. This was about a chair that could grow wings!

Roald Dahl, too, is an amazing author! I can read Matilda and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory any number of times even today.
