For adventure games try Lucasarts Monkey Island series (parts 1 to 3 are best), Lucasarts also has a lot of other great adventure games like Grim Fandango and Full Throttle

I need adventure and action games.

For adventure genre, always go with the classics:
1) The Longest Journey
2) MYST
3) any game of "Monkey Island" franchise
4) Grim Fandango
5) Machinarium

I don't like the action genre, maybe others can help
