This was a ridiculous campaign by Thomson Reuters to discredit India. Worst countries for women are Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, where women can't even drive

I haven't verified myself but heard that the same so-called survey ranked even USA among top 10 most dangerous countries. Funny to say the least.

USA could be, because of the number of rapes and assaults on women. However, the Thomson Reuters story has been discredited.

Its a perception study ,so I wont agree fully with results but i do agree there is a lot of issues for women in india.

I wouldn't say dangerous but there are concerns and needed much more cautions on this issue. Law need to more strict because every other month there are news about rape.Though this kind of situation, India still provide all kind of freedom and has lw to protect women. Where as middle east and gulf counties where no freedom and respect for women are more dangerous to women

Totally rubbish , you cannot say among all the countries it is unsafe here for women, there are many countries where women are literally living like in hell
