Credits , Karma and Money

I am confused... Its nice to see getting numbers accumulated against your name...

Credits, Karma and Money.... But what is its meaning ? What do you do with it and what is its significance ?
Please some one clarify this

Hi... The following is something that I have commented on another occasion when the same question was raised:

«Under the Forum Model, and in general terms, the credits represent the level of reputation that a user has reached, its value is calculated basically based on the hours online and the number of posts (threads and messages) that he has made, the number of accumulated credits are used to determine the user level within the forum... Karma is a kind that represents a qualitative value regarding how valuable the contributions the user has made in the forum, if he shared something interesting or significant ... Money (which is not real money) is used by users as a way of thanking for the contributions that the user makes, it is the best way to thank a contribution. The more money a user has, the more likely he/she has received many "thanks". The Karma is granted only by the Moderators and the Administration, the money can be granted by any user.»
