Which ebook format is robust

Which ebook format would you suggest keeping my library in? Presently I prefer ePUB but do experts think that PDF or .mobi are likely in long run? If another format, any way to mass convert

Epub, mobi and azw3 are all robust and similar in terms of display and content. Pdf is convenientfdor. Printing after the font size and other aspects have been fixed but isnt a great choice for reading on ereaders. In case one is using a third party ereader app like fbreader, the format between, epub, mobi and azw3 doesn't matter since all can be read. However if one is using either a kindle device or kindle app, the format needs to be mobi or azw3 and not epub. The problem is some  books are available only in epub. This is where conversion software like calibre comes to the rescue and can easily convert between formats from epub to mobi and vice versa. That said, the inherebt advantage of epub mobi and azw3 ir odf is that being dynamic content, the text size can be changed without physically zooming into or reaizing a page as is done on pdf.

Pdf is easy...Lots of app r there inbuilt in d system/reader...so pdf is better

I use a Kindle, so personally I prefer all my stuff in .mobi.
The challenge with PDF is the readability is affected in e-Readers (AFAIK). & ePub is not supported by Kindle.
But following the thread for more insight.

I prefer epubs on phone/tablets,pdfs for laptop. i dont like mobi,azw3 or other fromats epubs,pdfs are easily converted and edited

epubs are the easiest to maintain and Kobo ebook reader supports both epubs and mobi's so much better than kindle !!

I consider .mobi as the best format, however not all the people can use it, hence currently PDF is the only which has reached to mass and accessible by all. HENCE PDF IS THE BEST
