Considering cost of parking, food, tickets, timing etc, home beats theatre. And with release windows compressed, online is the way ahead especially for those with LCD TVs

new movies-Obviously in Movie theater.
But classical movies can be seen on TV with family.

Watching Cinema in a theatre is best as there is total concentration on the movie and you enjoy the same thoroughly. But, with rising costs and the same being made available to watch at home within a month, this should be limited to only those with great visual effects or visualization.
