[Discuss Books] World War Z by Max Brooks

I started reading World War Z with the expectation of reading a simple Zombie Yarn, but was totally blown away by the treatment and the plot. It actually uses the zombies as just a plot device, I mean, they could have substituted it for another epidemic say rabies and the book would still ahve worked because it is essentially about how governments would react in the face of dire crises.

I. Loved the book. Its written in a very simple format like a diary whcih keeps one engrossed. As said earlier its actually a novel about how Countries and states would react when faced with a crisis of enormous magnitude.
