Try reading Vineet bajpai Harappa Series .It is better then Ashwin Sanghi

Besides these authors, try, Surender Mohan Pathak, in Hindi. He is way better than all the Indian english authors combined.

I mean i only read in english but as you suggest i will move on to the hindi language as well. And i will soon read his books.
