New group Section like current affair, news etc

Dear All Admin and moderator,


I have a suggestion for create some diffrent group section in this forum which is missing in UCF . Please do give your comments if you agree to this or not! Looking forward to a healthy discussion on this suggestion!!


Section Suggested
---------------------
1. World News : We can share latest World's diffrent current news or article.


2. Inspirations : share some  Inspired Stories - Thoughts - Quotes - Presentations etc.


3. Birthday : We can Wish Birthday boy or girl for registed User .


4. Shair-o-Shairi (Any Language poetry) : For those , who want to Share and read poetry in  Urdu / Hindi or any language.


5. Knowledge Sharing :Information and research. Resources for students, learning methods, career guidelines


FunStuff

1. Jokes : Jokes , Funny one liners , Funny stories.
2.puzzles : collections of puzzles
3.Art Work: showing creativity




>: Under the Wallpaper Section We can sub subcategory for diffrent zone like celebrity , nature , love , logo, animal etc.


>: Under the Music section also we can create diffrent gener music subcategory


>: is it possible for add Shutbox or any live chat box at the main page of forum for  intraction with forum memeber( Only registed User only)


  


Note: New fourm is a new baby , Kindly work forum theme. It is not look like our old UCF.


I hope collective response will be come.

Hi @Dev ,

My over all point is to create something different in our new forum.

Most of the sections in forum's main page can be easy to navigate but there will be so many sections and most of them needs to be active too. If extra sections will not be active then too many inactive sections will not be good in main page. A new forum always start with few main sections if member's need more then important sections can be created.

Yes we can add logos and we will add logos. As it is a new forum we are working on it and it will improve but we also need to keep it's simplicity.

Many of your suggestions are very good. We will work on them step by step and inform you and other members. So keep patience and wait for sometime. We will work step by step. Member's suggestions always help Craxme to become better. Your initiative towards Craxme is very much appreciated.

Your suggestions are good. But many of the above mentioned topics can be discussed in free talk.

1. You can use 'News' thread type in free talk section to share World News or any other type of news. You can post it with source link.

2. For short stories,thoughts and quotes use 'Share' or 'Other' thread type in free talk and also mention in the title like [Short Story] and also you can mention what type of post you are making in thread title. But we can add some of them as thread types in free talk. So wait we will add soon.

3. Wishing Birthday or Congratulating for forum achievements use 'Congratulations and Wishes' thread in free talk. That thread is created for that purpose.

4. You can use 'Share' or 'Other' thread type in free talk for Shair-o-Shairi.

5. You can use 'Share' or 'Other' thread type in free talk for Knowledge Sharing. If you want to suggest specific thread type suggest here. We will discuss and add it if possible.

Fun Stuff

1. 'Jokes' thread type already added in free talk. You can use that.

2. Sharing puzzles as image or something other?

3. For self Art work or designs we can add new thread type in wallpaper section.

Hi Allinrana.
Change all or Improve existing... It may seem like a dilemma, however, both purposes are good. One of the reasons why it was decided to develop the Forum under the Discuz platform was the familiarity that the new Forum would have with our beloved UCF (now in the process of extinction).
Certainly the improvements will happen progressively and according to the needs of the Forum and its users. Dev bro has explained it very well and I fully agree with him. All suggestions are welcome, but require an implementation process, can not be implemented immediately without prior evaluation.
The final objective is to make the Forum a friendly place with the users and also and place that constantly evolves.
