Redmi Note 9 Pro Max goes out of stock within minutes in first Indian sale

The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max went on its first sale today in India and was out of stock within a few minutes.

This information comes from Xiaomi India's Managing Director Manu Jain, who said the stock will be replenished next week but didn't reveal how many units were sold in today's sale.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max comes in Glacier White, Interstellar Black and Aurora Blue colors, and has three memory configurations - 6GB/64GB priced at INR16,499 ($220/€200), 6GB/128GB priced at INR17,999 ($240/€220), and 8GB/128GB which costs INR19,999 ($265/€245).


The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is powered by the Snapdragon 720G SoC, boots Android 10 with MIUI 11 on top, and sports a 6.67" LCD of FullHD+ resolution.

For photography, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max comes with a total of five cameras - a 32MP selfie shooter on the front, and a 64MP main camera at the back joined by an 8MP ultrawide, 5MP macro and 2MP depth sensor modules.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max features a side-mounted fingerprint reader for biometric authentication, and fueling the entire package is a 5,020 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
