The reasonably high stress levels of our daily life, combined with a mind that's forever on the run often rob us of a sense of calm and peace.

So to get to a more peaceful state, some people meditate while concentrating on their breathing. Some others think of happy times and memories like vacations and playing with their little children. Some go out to spend time with friends. Others go for a walk. And so on...

Today, I wanted to understand from you as to what are your top choices to fill in a feeling of peacefulness within yourself. Pls do share - will be good to know and benefit from that.

Thanks,
AJ

Usually I share the things with my family that are causing me stress and spend time with them to relieve myself from stress. Most of the times, it works. Another good option for stress relief is to meet with your pals.

My top choice to fill in my peacefulness is taking another breath.
Followed closely by napping.

That's a good one asr.

The only catch is what do you do when your family itself is the cause of the stress?

Just kidding...what you say really works. Nothing like Home and Family.

Rhett, you are in an altogether different league!
Hard to imagine a cool dude like you getting stressed out, especially with your free spirit, awesome sense of humour and bike riding

Yes, walking works...A long walk to clear your mind, or maybe some running or gymming to push out the stress from your mind. Thanks!

Precisely the long walks works wonders for me. I love walking on the beach front listening to the sound of waves that clams my nerves. I tend to forget everything and it seems like eternity.

Grab a glass of wine and sit in the hot tub until your worries melt away.
